Ruichuan brings expertise in child centred research and evaluation. He has worked in UNICEF and other international development organizations, where he led and contributed to evidence synthesis projects, as well as provided technical oversight and guidance in managing evidence-generation projects on a wide range of themes related to the rights and well-being of children and adolescents. His work has focused on family policy, mental health, child and social protection, and gender equality. He also has solid experience in research ethics, quality assurance and knowledge management.
