Implementación de una cartera de políticas de infancia para Uruguay

Child policies in Uruguay are fundamental to the well-being of children and adolescents. This document, developed by UNICEF Uruguay and The Learning for Well-being Institute, as part of the Delivering on a child policy portfolio in Uruguay project, analyses the situation of children in the country based on indicators such as income poverty, educational outcomes and well-being, in comparison with Latin America and high-income countries.

The study examines the allocation of public spending on children and presents a proposal for the implementation of a comprehensive portfolio of child policies, including measures such as a universal child benefit, school meals, parental leave and care services. It also analyses the implications for public policy and for families, providing key evidence to inform decision-making.
