Our Vision

A world where every child can fulfil their unique potential.

What We Do

We build robust evidence that enables decision-makers to create better systems for children and families.

We produce high-quality research supporting holistic child well-being, development, education, and social policy. We aim to provide knowlegde on what should be done, but also how to do it effectively and ethically, which is why our evidence can be scaled and adapted to different cultural, social or economic contexts.

How we do it

We are guided by a vision for research, evidence, and thought leadership, which facilitates the conditions for building effective, efficient, and risk-informed strategies, to achieve holistic child development.

Our work is grounded in the Learning for Well-Being (L4WB) Framework, which recognises child development as a complex system. It proposes that holistic child well-being is achieved through a eudemonic development process, whereby children achieve their unique potential in each dimension of well-being: mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual.

Our work seeks to amplify the influence of the L4WB framework through evidence-based advocacy, partnerships, and guidance for implementation, with policymakers; education, health and social service practitioners; parents; and children.
